Missi's Poem
I was just a dog in the world all alone
Two by Two Rescue found me a home.
Now I'm cozy in my master's bed,
I am warm, healthy, happy, and fed.
Never thought I'd be here, my life has been rough
living by the road with no food is tough.
You rescued me, and I feel hope again,
maybe it's true that I'm man's best friend.
My eyes say thank you, my licks show love.
My wagging tail says you're my gift from above.
I've listened to you talk, seen the work you do,
I know God has saved a special place for you.
If a dog could pray my prayer would be
that all homeless pets would be rescued like me.
So when you get down cause there's so much to do,
think about me and where I'd be without you.
